Self-hosted

The whole product, on your own server.

Panel, relay server and per-company databases — all of it on your machine, on your domain. Not a restricted edition: the same product, planned and installed together with us.

The architecture

We are absent from this diagram — deliberately.

Technician

Browser console

The admin panel is a web page; the technician app is a single file.

Your infrastructure

VizzDesk server

Panel · relay server · a separate database per company. All of it on your machine, on your domain.

Managed devices

Windows 10 · 11 · Server

Agents download the installer from your address; no access to our servers is needed.

Your data stays with you, your keys stay with you, you set the rules — we are absent from this diagram, and that is deliberate.

  • Your data stays on your server

Session traffic, the device list and the logs never leave your infrastructure; no session data flows to us.

  • The same product, one binary

The agent and the technician app are the same file; there is no restricted "on-premise edition". Installation and updates run through one file.

  • Every company in its own database file

Tenant isolation is at the file level: one company's data is never inside another company's file, and a backup is one file copy.

  • Your domain, your certificate

The installation lives on your domain. For TLS you can upload your own certificate, use your internal certificate authority, or obtain one automatically.

  • Can be installed on an air-gapped network

The product does not depend on an external CDN, font or script service. Activation can be done by carrying two text blocks across by hand.

  • Updates arrive as signed packages

A package whose signature fails verification is never run. Your database, keys and published agent files stay in place across updates.

  • Term license with explicit ceilings

Usage rights are read from a signed license file: term, company and device ceilings. Even if the license expires, access to your existing data is not cut off.

  • Agent files download from your server

Your users and technicians download the installer from your address; no access to our servers is needed for installation.

An honest note: the on-premise installation is not a package you buy in the panel and download the same day. Its architecture and installation flow are designed — one binary, signed distribution, a license file, a virtual machine image — and implementation is in progress. That is why the first installations happen together with us, on an agreed schedule. We don’t think it would be right to say "download and install" before it is ready.

Frequently asked

Self-hosting, in questions.

Is the self-hosted version a limited "on-premise edition"?

No. It is the same product and the same single binary as the hosted setup; the panel, the relay and the per-company database files all run on your server, on your domain.

Does it work on a closed (air-gapped) network?

Yes. The product does not depend on an external CDN, font or script service, and activation can be done by carrying two text blocks across by hand. Agents download their installer from your address.

What happens when the license expires?

Access to your existing data is not cut off. Usage rights come from a signed license file with explicit ceilings — term, companies, devices — so what you bought is written down, not implied.
